    Standardization of all nursing skills taught in the Undergraduate Program of the Department, aiming at highly unified education of nursing students, with evidence-based practices. The universal acceptance of a standardized skill makes it unique as a process band promotes its continuous improvement.

    Creation of a YouTube channel containing all nursing skills of the curriculum in video format. The aim of the channel is not to replace scientific textbooks, which should be studied by anyone who wishes to practice nursing.  Go

    Upon the book’s publication, students have now at their disposal text, photos and videos, as well as documentation for each skill. During writing the book, we sought every skill to be fully described so that it could be studied autonomously.

    Evaluation Standardization

    Creation of standard pre-graded evaluative sheets based on the skills as described in the book, which are available to the evaluator and the student, so as to ensure objectivity throughout the process of clinical skills exams.

    Application in an Android environment with digitization of pre-graded evaluative sheets, automatic issuance of a score and safe storage of data; revocation of data upon student request.

Κέντρο PHTLS

The facility of the laboratory is one of the Founding Training PHTLS (Prehospital Trauma Life Support) Centers in Greece. The aim of PHTLS is to reduce preventable and unjust deaths and disabilities. PHTLS is an intensive seminar that requires thorough preparation and study of the book, in order to successfully complete the practical exercises and the written assessment.
